Randy rejoins Eckrich and Operation Homefront to honor military families in Kansas City and Minneapolis
Randy rejoins Eckrich and Operation Homefront to honor military families in Kansas City and MinneapolisJust prior to taking the stage at his Kansas City and Minneapolis shows over the weekend, Randy Houser teamed up with Eckrich to surprise two military families with special surprises. On Friday night, Houser and Eckrich surprised retired Army Specialist Patrick Heier and his wife, Teresa at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Kansas City with a year of free groceries from Walmart. Then the following night at the TFC Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Houser met up backstage with Veteran Army National Guard Specialist Justin Green and his family and surprised them with a gift card for $1,000 in free groceries at Cub, courtesy of Eckrich.“These families have sacrificed so much so I can go out and perform and do what I love, so helping out a little with Eckrich and letting them enjoy a concert is the least we can do,” Houser said.
This is Houser's second year teaming up with Eckrich to pay tribute to and honor military families at his concerts. Houser has long supported the military and their families, and has performed for service members stationed in Iraq and Kuwait, plus Operation Homefront Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He is excited to continue his partnerships with these organizations as he sets out to help and honor those who serve.
